Spicy Rainbow Sangria, Seahive with Olallaberry Jam

It's July in Utah! That means it's time to party like the summer will never end. So many gatherings, so much entertaining.

If you're looking for a the perfect party pairing, then we suggest serving this Bitters Lab inspired summer cocktail with a bite of Seahive topped with a dollop of Olallaberry Jam from Amour Spreads. Add a tiny bit of thyme on the jam to make this appetizer really stand out. The deep, tangy, woodsy Olallaberry Jam pairs nicely with the sweet, creamy Seahive

Spicy Rainbow Sangria | Serves 6-8

Ingredients

  • 3 limes, sliced
  • 2 lemons, sliced
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • 3 apricots, pitted and sliced
  • 1 LB strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 6 oz raspberries
  • 6 oz blackberries
  • 1/2 cup simple syrup
  • Pinch salt
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup tequila blanco
  • 1 bottle dry white wine – Consider Utah’s Castle Creek Chenin Blanc
  • 1 TB Habanero Lime bitters from Bitters Lab

Layer fruit into a large glass jar. Mix syrup, salt, lemon juice, tequila, wine and bitters in a separate pitcher and pour over fruit. Ladle sangria over ice and top with soda water of your choice.
