Teahive and fennel pizza

Teahive Pizza with Figs, Fennel, and Caramelized Onions


  • Good quality pizza dough from your local grocery store
  • 4 cups shredded Teahive cheese
  • 2 finely julienned sweet onions
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 10 figs, sliced on a bias
  • 16 ounces fresh goat cheese
  • 1 fennel bulb, thinly shaved on a mandolin
  • Olive oil for drizzling
  • Honey for drizzling (we love Savanna Bee Honey for this)


      Fennel on Teahive pizza

      1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F and place a pizza stone in the oven.

      2. Bring a sauté pan to medium heat and melt butter. Add onions. Cook until just starting to brown. Set aside.
      Roll out your pizza dough to about 10" wide and about 1/4" thick.
      Honey drizzle                                3. Drizzle pizza crust with olive oil, then top with 1 cup of Teahive, 4 ounces of goat cheese, a quarter of the caramelized onions, and figs.

      4. Place pizza on the pizza stone and cook until the crust gets brown and the cheese melts. When finished, top with fresh fennel and drizzle with honey.
