Cheese Melting 101
The art of cheese melting! Here are some tips to ensure your cheese stays gooey while achieving that golden brown color.
1. Shred the cheese. This increases the surface area and ensures the cheese melts evenly.
2. Cook the cheese on low heat in the oven/toaster oven. This keeps the cheese from losing too much moisture and becoming hard.
3. At the very end, broil the cheese on high (500 degrees) in the oven to achieve the golden brown color.
