Sausage rolls:
Combine ingredients together and set aside.
Recipe:
1. Preheat oven to 400. Spray a baking sheet with nonstick spray.
2. In a sauté pan over low heat add oil and butter, onion, celery, apple, garlic and seasonings. Cook until veggies and apple are softened. About 8-10 min then add maple syrup and mix together. Remove from heat and set aside.
3. In a mixing bowl add sausage, cheese, cooked veggie mixture, panko bread crumbs, milk and one egg. Mix together until well combined.
4. Remove puff pastry from packaging and cut sheet in half so you have two halves.
5. Form sausage mixture into a long cylinder that spans the length of the puff pastry from end to end. Place it about one inch from top of the first half of puff pastry.
6. In a small bowl whisk the other egg.
7. Roll puff pastry around sausage cylinder and use egg wash to seal at the bottom. Make sure to seal it tightly. Then roll the pastry dough over the sausage and make sure to seal tight. Brush whole sausage roll with egg wash and sprinkle with Everything Bagel Seasoning. Repeat step 5-8 for other half.
8. Cut the sausage roll into two inch pieces and place on baking sheet. Bake 20-25 min until crispy and brown. Serve with dipping sauce. This makes approx 18 small sausage rolls.
