Subject: Beehive Cheese Company, LLC COVID-19 Response and Preparedness
Dear valued partner;
As COVID-19 affects our communities, Beehive Cheese remains open and is taking steps above and beyond our normal top-notch health and safety standards to protect our staff and community. The Beehive Cheese Leadership Team has prepared the following community-minded plan for the coming weeks to address the spread of COVID-19, care for our employees, and maintain our regular business operations.
Business as usual with preventive measures in place
Our working and proactive plan ensures the highest level of sanitation, employee safety, and actively encourages community-minded thinking as we get through these tough times together. As of right now, our public creamery retail shop is closed to the public; however, we continue to fulfill orders and work with our partners, and we plan on continuing to do so.
Planning and communication
We have prepared both a working plan and proactive plan to take care of the health of our team and community in the event of exposure to COVID-19. These plans have been presented to the entire Beehive Cheese staff. Our working plan includes routine sanitation of frequently touched surfaces, increased vigilance for respiratory etiquette and hand hygiene, practicing active communication with staff as new updates are available, and closely following the latest information available from the Utah Department of Health and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. We also have a plan to take care of affected employees and are offering paid leave.
Suspending sampling and travel until conditions improve
We have temporarily stopped sampling in our creamery retail location, as well as sampling at community events. Commitments made for donations to events will be honored and/or adjusted on a case-by-case basis. Staff travel has been suspended and our team is opting out of large scale food and cheese events.
There is nothing more important to us than the health and safety of our employees, community, and partners. We will continue to communicate with you as this situation evolves. Please feel free to reach out to us at email@example.com
